2023 Toyota Hilux Rogue – Premium Touring & Off-Grid Build
This 2023 Toyota Hilux Rogue came to us with one goal in mind – create a premium touring vehicle capable of tackling extended off-grid adventures without compromising comfort, functionality or reliability.
To achieve this, we started with a custom tray and canopy package from BK Canopies. Proudly Australian made, the tray and canopy combination provides exceptional strength, storage capacity and a clean, integrated appearance that perfectly suits the Hilux platform.
Complete REDARC Off-Grid Power System
At the heart of the build is a complete REDARC RedVision power management system paired with a 200Ah lithium battery setup. The RedVision system provides complete control and monitoring of the vehicle's electrical accessories, giving the owner confidence whether travelling locally or deep into remote Australia.
To maximise off-grid capability, we also installed 460W of solar, ensuring the batteries remain charged and ready to power essential equipment throughout extended trips away from powered campsites.
Touring & Camping Ready
For comfortable accommodation on the road, this Rogue was fitted with an Outback Tourer 1.4m rooftop tent and awning package, creating the perfect setup for quick overnight stops or extended camping adventures.
Inside the canopy, we completed a fully customised fit-out designed around practicality and ease of use, featuring:

Separate slide-out kitchen drawer
130L Bushman fridge installation
EcoXGear speaker system
Custom storage solutions throughout
The layout provides excellent accessibility while making the most of every available space within the canopy.
Added Storage & Convenience
To further increase versatility, a Wedgetail roof rack system was fitted, providing additional carrying capacity for adventure gear and equipment.
For convenience and security, we integrated central locking into both the canopy doors and under-tray toolboxes, allowing all compartments to lock and unlock with the vehicle.
Advanced Air Management System
A complete onboard air system was installed and centred around an ARB Twin Brushless Compressor and air tank. The system provides fast and reliable compressed air for tyre inflation and accessory use while also powering the vehicle's onboard air management system.
To complete the setup, we fitted digital airbag controls, allowing the owner to easily adjust suspension pressures to suit varying loads, towing requirements and terrain conditions at the touch of a button.

Combining Australian-made fabrication, premium electrical components and a purpose-built touring layout, this Hilux Rogue is ready for everything from weekend getaways to extended off-grid expeditions.
